Unfolding BookJanuary 1975 76 x 37 x 51 cm (closed) The first assemblage of found materials made on the BA(Hons) sculpture course at North Staffordshire Polytechnic in Stoke on Trent was a development of the Wooden Book idea. All the materials were found on demolition sites. Four 'pages' of frames made from floor joists were hinged together and filled with turned pieces of furniture, shop sign letters, parts of boxes, etc. Dismantled 2011.
